Westwood Financial Corp. Acquires Kroger-Anchored Shopping Center in Atlanta, Georgia

Atlanta, GEORGIA – Westwood Financial Corp. has acquired Village at Westfork, a 75,947 square foot shopping center anchored by a Kroger supermarket. Village at Westfork is located on the NE corner of Thornton Road and Maxham Road in the Atlanta suburb of Lithia Springs. Tenants at the property include Washington Mutual, H & R Block, Randstad Staffing, Hair Cuttery, New China Restaurant, Beauty 7 Mart, Top Nails and O.K. Cleaners. The property was purchased from Bag Investments and Whitney Knoll of Staubach Atlanta represented the Seller in the transaction.

“Village at Westfork is a stable asset with a limited amount of shop space and is the dominant grocery-anchored shopping center in its trade area,” said Joe Dykstra, Executive Vice President of Westwood Financial Corp. Village at Westfork is Westwood Financial Corp.'s second acquisition in Atlanta in the last two years.
