Westwood Financial Sells San Diego Retail Property For $1,450,000

LOS ANGELES, California -- Westwood Financial Corp. sold a two-unit convenience center located in San Diego, California at the northeast corner of Fairmont and University Avenues for $1,450,000. The property was sold to one of the tenants, Bryan Chanda. The 4,898-sf retail center is 100% occupied and houses Payless ShoeSource and Donut Star.
“We are continuing to sell our non-anchored retail centers with seven more presently under contract,” said Joe Dykstra, executive at Westwood Financial. “We’re also continuing to acquire more anchored neighborhood and community shopping centers in the West. As one of the largest real estate investment firms of retail shopping centers on the West Coast, we look to continue acquiring quality retail properties.”
Bryan Chanda represented himself, and Westwood Financial acted as principal and was represented in-house by Phillip Duke.
